Anyone ever done this? Where do you do it? how do you do it, anddoes it make much difference?

Thanks a bunch....

I remeber seeing somewhere if after a year or so your barrel isn't as shiny just get it rehoned, and it will be like new again, but I forget where. and all the stuff ya know?

I dunno about honing, but i've polished the inside of stock barrels and it works well. It does make the inside a little bigger,so you'd have to use larger piant, but it does make a noticeable difference. since honing is similar to polishing in that it makes the inside smoother, it's logical to assume that it would help some too.

your barrels are already honed from the factory!!!! why would youwant to do it again? it's a very tedious process, and only professionals with the proper equiptment should take o this process! you might end up making the barrel even worse. If you have scratches or gouges in your barrel, then it would be better to get a brand new one rather then have it re honed. Even if you do have it re honed the bore size will not be the same, remember that.

Honeing is a very simple process, but just costly without the proper machinerey. look in your yellow pages under machinist. and get a quote

there is a paintball specific barrel hone available called the flex hone,it actually works great for re-honing and has been around for years,i&i may still have some there about 40 bux for the hone and oil

only if your barrel is scratched no use doing it to a new one and yes it will make your bore a hair bigger
