What makes one gun more "Accurate" or a better value then say the same type of gun ( both stock) . Would a spyder victor 2's performance be the same as a tippman 98 custom? Are most blowback markers performance the same. Let me clear up performance and give you my definition. I mean performance in that their accuracy would be relatively similar. Is it just that some markers internal parts are made of a higher quality then others. The reason I ask is because I dont understand why someone would buy a more expensive semi-automatic gun say $200 over say a basic spyder victor or something similar. Would a more expensive mechanical cocker shoot better then a cheap spyder victor? Would a REX type-R truly be comparable to a Diablo wrath which is at least double its price?

Actually, he states the truth, Spyders are made out of pretty crappy metal.

Spyders are 1 year guns. They are made out of cheap materials. But my spyder has lasted me a year and I haven't had near as many mechanical problems with it as I have my Wrath.

My friend has been using his very upgraded Xtra (bought in 2002) as a backup and he has had only one problem - the stock macroline leaked, he replaced it with a ss hose and it has been working perfectly since.
I'd take a Spyder over a Tippmann any day, but that is just me.
