Well I have my mind set on a cyborg now. I have found that the 05 and the sonic are in the same price range. Which on is better and why? Also what are the differences between the two?

Thanks.

The Sonic has a hand clamping feedneck while the 05 has a feedneck similiar to the stock one on an Impulse. Also the lpr is different on the Sonic, it's a slightly upgraded one over the 05 and also the bolt is different. The sonic one is lighter and shorter then the 05 Cyborg.
The differences are rather subtle honestly but in the end the Sonic is the slightly better buy because of the bolt, lpr, and feedneck. Though I changed the feedneck on my 06 Borg out for a clamping one since I was not a fan of the sonic feedneck. It's really up to personal preference. But considering most people end up putting a few Sonic parts on the 05 like the bolt for instance, you're better off spending the extra for the Sonic.

Does the sonic come with the full matchsticks kit?
I heard that it did.

You can order it with one but it adds $120 to the price. So instead of 750 you're paying 870 for the marker and the full matchstik kit, you don't get a deal by doing that.
If you're ordering from Paintball Kingdom, they're the only place I know that still sells them, just bring the bar down above the order button and you can select your color scheme (there are only a few) and you can select if you want one with the matchstik kit.

If you order a Sonic Cyborg w/ anything that ends with a color that's NOT black ie Sunset, you're forced to buy a barrel kit. Reason being no one would ever buy a bright yellow barrel kit by itself.
