Defective

I have a Freak Jr. Barrel that i received when i bought some gear off eBay :dodgy: Well I've had it for quite some time now and i've played with the barrel, but this past weekend i shot and broke a ball, which never happens. I look down the barrel and there's a nick, where i believe the metal and paint rose up and that caused the breakage. Do you think Smart Parts will replace just the front of the barrel since i have no warranty info or serial numbers? I also just bought inserts for it so they better or i'll insert them up................

You looked through the barrel through the muzzle end right? If so then thats normal, but if you saw the nick looking through the breech end then there might be a problem. I don't think the nick would affect the ball much, barrel breaks can happen because the ball is either too big, too small, or too weak. I think there are some reasons but I can't think of them now.
