View Full Version : How NOT to get gogged.
Today at the field 50% of all my hits were in the face/mask. Anyone got anything I can do so this won't happen as much? I move to look from a new place every time but SPLAT in the face . Pisses me off.
thanks

Well I always get backed because at the field i play at its like 15 on 15 on a field ment for 4 on 4. Well any way theres not enough bunkers so half the time most people will get stuck in the back. When I snap shot from the back ill wind up getting hit by boucing balls from the other side off the field. Its ***.the solution I found out is to run as fast as I can to a uncrowded bunker.I also learned if your pinned pop out on one side twice really fast then pop out from the pther side really fast and shot the guy pinning you or just call for help from a backman.
Does anyone else have any tips or tricks? I don't want to end like this next time:bawling:

are you staying posted out side of your bunker? are you leaving a very slim target? make your self as small a profile as you can only pop out to take a few shots and pull back in quickly, try not to come out the same spot too often . . . only lean out as much as you need to . . . i dunno, shoot them first, hehe.

Well I hate to say it, but look on the bright side, the head is the only thing that should be sticking out. Try different goggles that allow you less profile. That could help.

I play Aggressive, but with a sense about it. I dont leave body parts out side of bunkers.... If there is a guy there I snap and go back in..
A good way is to have good Hand-Eye coorination... I played this saturday, Was only eliminated once out of the whole day (got 2-4 people out each round) and I was playing front, Just tuck in the bunkers, leave a small profile
one of the most simple things that I do is look for holes in bunkers to look out of, so you know where they are and if there stickin out or not,

Hey dude thats a good point. Where do you play? WAP? We'll scrimage you
I guess it can be behind a bunker or looking over a fallen log. I doubt these guys have excellent accuarcy to hit a target the size of a pumpkin.

all i have to say is come out nice a tight your one eye should come out before anything else
I'll try that not sure it will work for me though.

Hey I have this problem the first time i played. I just went out last saturday and sunday and figured out my problem. So mabey its your problem too.
First of all NEVER come out the top of a bunker. Thats the quickest way to get gogged. Also you need eather a camo or Black Mask. Dont get a Glowing one or a bright yellow color. Thats a given. Also when you come out the side of a bunker dont come out and then aim. You have to spot your target, come out the bunker fire 3 or 4 rounds then get back in. Another thing is that you want to stay back from the face of the bunker, if they dont have angles on you or somthing like that. Now for you got shots your gonna think this is a waste or just stupid, but if im snap shooting while im under heavy fire and time is of the esscence shoot a couple rounds right before you lean out the conthinue to shoot the 3 or 4 that you want to get past the bunker. It looks stupid but you can get the shots off a lot faster then if you have to pull the trigger after you pop out. Try to stay Small come out the first time very low to the ground. If they dont know your in that bunker they might not even know where the shot came from. Good luck and Have fun

well i used to have that problem off the break when i tried to make long runs to the 50 or farther.
the trick there is to run with your hand infront (a little above) your goggles, you should stay low when you're running and ocassionally balls laub over and hit you in the goggle because it is hard. if the ball hits your hand it won't break.
when you're playing don't come out the top of your bunker, when you snap shoot, only let one eye out of your bunker. just practice getting small. this is key in snap shooting
