Hey guys,
Just wondering how to change the rate of fire on my dragunfly lcd. I seem to vaguely remember something about it, but don't want to do any damage by screwing around.
thanks!
Ben.

Dragunfly manual- http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316665
post #1 under ACTIVATION.
Simplified- hold down the bottom button to turn it on. once in safe mode, hit the top button once. Then hit the bottom button once. That should let you start adjusting the BPS cap with the top button. Once you've got it set where you want it, hit the bottom button once.
er....wait a second. In the subject it says LED, in the thread it says LCD. Thats the instructions for the LCD. On an LED you can't adjust it :(

Oh yes. Most definitely possible. The dragunfly in my sig. It was an LED when I got it, and it's lcd now ;)
Any dragun lcd board will work. However, I really suggest using a TES (NOT tesB) or dragunfly, drallion, or The ONE board (however with a The One/T-1 board you would have to solder over your capacitor from your led board. the T-1 didnt use a capacitor on it's mainboard).
Hunt thru the Buy Sell Trade forums here, and on PBnation.com for "dragun" you should be able to find somebody that is parting one of them out, and be able to get the boards for cheap.
You will need to get the mainboard, the lcd board. And if you want, you can also get the eye board, the eye/eye wires, and the splitter wire to connect the eye board to the mainboard. If you go that route, you will need to have the body milled for the eye to be able to install it. Also...dont run the eye board, without the eye installed. That causes problems with it firing. As in...it won't shoot if it cant detect that the eye is connected lol.
If you go with the eye, autococker eye covers will work, but they use a round hole for the eye, not a square. which....the dragun eye is square. You could get a bouncebeam eye (ten bucks plus shipping) from www.scenariodreams.com which will work with the dragun eye board, and is round. so it will fit in an autococker eye cover. You would still need to get the dragun eye tho. Because the scenariodreams eye doesnt come with a jack; so you'd need the wires from the dragun eye to be able to jack it into the eye board.
Hope that this helps you out :)

sorry for the double post. Something else that you might want to consider is the t-board from scenariodreams.
I was doing the math. around 15-20 bucks for the mainboard and lcd board, about 10-15 for the eye board and around 10-20 for the eye, the wire, and the wires that connect the mainboard to the eyeboard. For about the same price, or just a little bit more, you could get the t-board from www.scenariodreams. It's still an led board, with no lcd option, but it's a lot more sophisticated. It has a 36 bps cap, has a LOT more settings for optimizing the performance of the marker, comes equipped for an eye (tho the eye is sold seperate), and handles the firing sequence better than the dragun boards do.
You can also upgrade the t-board with the drallion/dragunfly chip which will give it new modes, like Burst, RT (fires on the pull and release of the trigger) several different ramping modes, and full auto. And no...the scenariodreams chips won't work on the stock dragun boards :(

So...
I stumbled across a guy on ebay selling the board and grips from a dragunfly LCD. Offered him 20 bucks shipped and he accepted. The parts came yesterday. Needless to say, I am a very happy camper! :D
Did I get a good deal?
Ben.

hey, Nice! MainBoard usually sells for about 10-20 depending on if it's coming WITH the lcd board or not, grips...around 10-15 depending on condition, then throw in the shipping for both. Yeah, you got a pretty good deal on that. right on.
hope that you enjoy her when you get the new upgrades in. I did! :)
