Since you guys have helped me with the regulator expansion chamber problem. I have a new one. Both of these Regs have a rating of 9.6 and over. Both say that it take a few cases to fully break it in. But which one is best.

idk about the detonator, i have no experience with it, but i like my palmers stab alot. if your running co2 definately go with the stab, best rag for co2, hands down imo.

Palmers Stab, hands down! You can't get a better reg that handles co2 than a Palmer. Nothing comes close. Also, the Stab can handle both co2 & nitro; just in case you are deciding to upgrade to comp air in the future.

Well if you plan on using CO2 for a long time, you might as well get the Stab. But if you want to look into HPA, you should get the Det.

Right now i'm looking at the palmer stablizer for my Tippmann with W.A.S. Board, but maybe i should get the detonator for my other tippmann. I have a low pressure kit on it and use strictly hpa on it. My current Reg doesn't do too well

Well get the Stab if you're going to use CO2, and get the Det of you're going to use HPA.

Detonator will give you even better consistency than the Stabilizer (I've seen ±1-2 fps w/ a Det). Just don't run CO2 through it.

Since you said you'll be using HPA exclusively, then get the Detonator. It will be a fair bit cheaper and perform a bit better than the Stabilizer for how you will be using it.

i put maybe 600 shots of co2 into my detonator reg. pro shop said it can handle both.. as with all regs they would need to be cleaned regularly if co2 is used... but i switched to Hpa and the reg is affected none by co2.... just wouldn't reccomend using it long term....
