Whats your price range, I'm sure you can get a lot better markers for the money.

THere is a lot of new Mil-Sim stuff being released these days. You might look at the new Spyder stuff since you are on a budget.

I have a friend with a BT-4 and my cousin had/has a Gameface recon.

The BT-4 with stock barrel breaks paint often, I can't say for sure if he chops often cause I'm not close enough to know and even if he does chop he just shoots through it, It's a mechanical marker and the guts look like an A-5. but with out the cyclone feed.

The Gameface Recon is a spyder with a fancy shell It will have spyder problems, I have a sad story about my cousins gameface recon (but it has a happy ending for me:
My cousin Cliff left his gameface recon on top of a table that was barely covered by the roof. It had an E-grip/trigger and at first it wouldn't work then it went full auto which it wasn't suppose to do according to the store that sold it to us. I he played with it maybe 1-2 more weeks. and it stopped working all together. it won't hold enough air to shoot a ball at all. they just roll out the barrel. There some screws that are stripped out on the gun aswell. My cousin Eric and I have been trying to fix it new valve o-rings etc. but we took the old Gameface valve and stuck it in my bruizer SOB and after 8 years my first paintball gun is back. sweet.

My cousin cliff is VERY rough on guns he just ordered an autococker. my other cousin Eric and I don't believe he'll go 3 games with-out breaking/hurting it somehow. My cousin cliff is awed by the M-16 markers and that's all he wanted till he found out they're all pretty much spyders or tippmanns. then he finally decided on an autococker. but personally with how rough he is. he really needs a tank of a gun.

In final - both lack accuracy stock, and they both chop/break paint.
BT-4 = tippman, might last longer
Gameface recon = spyder, faster rof
it boils down to preferance.
your suppose to beable to get a e-grip for those bt-4s I think.
My suggestion is to get a marker that looks like a paintball marker.
and shoots like a dream.
the m-16 look alikes are over rated.
