ive been paintballing for almost 2 months now, and i bought my first semi auto marker, Spyder Sonix, and im sitting here and i see that from my previous match up, theres still access paint, like in the cracks and all, would that damage my marker, and another thing, ive played twice with this marker and i still havent oild it, im waiting to see when my next match is so i can oil it before than, would that also screw up my paintball gun.? Just wondering, please msg me asap. Appreciate it.

your marker is just like any other gun. clean and oil it every time you use it. the paint won't cause your gun to fall apart but i usually get bored and clean it just because i enjoy it.

Yeah, it's a pretty good idea to clean it and oil it after every day you use it. It won't kill it to go a couple of times without a cleaning, but it isn't gonna go forever without maintenance. If the paint gets inside your gun it will eventually turn into a thick, pasty gunk. Not something you want.
Just don't use too much oil, you'll be spraying it out on the field.
We had a guy do that. He picked his gun up and oil started leaking out.

the easiest way to oil it is to put a couple drops in your ASA and then dry fire like 30 times with the barrel off that will cycle the oil. to clean it just take the whole thing apart and wipe it down with a DAMP NOT WET paper towel and keep the moisture away from your board.if youw ant to oil it that way just oil the o rings inside then put 1 or 2 drops in the ASA fire 30 times with the barrel off and you are good to go

Clean your gun after everytime u use it. I personally have never oiled my Tippmann and its still runnin great, but its a good idea to keep your gun oiled.

Clean your gun with an old tooth brush, it works like magic and gets in all the nooks and crannys. And try not to play at fields with sand.
BTW: Make your post titles clearer and more specific, almost everyone here "needs help"
