Ball detent

where is the ball detent and how would i check to see if it is in working order because yesterday i was just shooting in my yard and two balls rolled out of my barrel and i was having a problem last week with the first shot shootdown and also two balls being loaded

first shot shootdown is due to a dry hammer rod

just take it out, and see if it is jammed in, if not, push on it lightly. if it gets jammes, then you RELLY need to celan it. just chuck it into a capful of achohol

thank you both for your help i will lube the crap out of the hammer rod and also i would like to check the ball detent but im just not sure exactly how i would go about it (where is it how do i get it out) keep in mind i used a 98c before this so im new to these types of guns thanx guys

look on the sides of your gun, right below the feedtube.. Those(if you have 2) bulges are the detents. use an allen key

That is your ball detent.

AH HAH i thought so thanx so now i just use a wrench and unscrew it like any other screw and it will have a spring thingy on the end and i should see if that moves freely?? making sense??

My ball detent is shot not only was it dirty but its also broken the threads split and its in three pieces does an impulse use a special detent or can i use anyone like a cocker one or whatever

To the best of my knowlledge, the Impulse detent is unique to the Impulse.
