Hello, I am new to owning my own gun and I have decided on getting an Ion so what I want to ask since I never have owned my own marker before was.
Where do you apply lubricant on your marker?
Where on the specific part do you apply it?
How much do you apply per part?
Are you supposed to use both oil and lubericant?
If so where do you use each?
I looked through the manual and if someone could kindly put all of these questions in lamens terms so that I dont mess up anything and ruin my entire investment.

I don't have the manual in front of me, but I think it says only use DOW 33 grease. Go to your local paintball store and ask them for it, or look online if you don't have one and you should be able to find it.
Second, only lube the o-rings on the bolt, and the bolt stop, or whatever it's called I don't remember. There really are only 2 parts on the inside of the Ion that need lubing, and they don't need a ton of lube, so be careful how much you put on.
Never put oil into the ASA or anything else as it will fry the solenoid. also, the manual says never to use liquid oil if memory serves. Re-read the manual a second time, it really is pretty well written. Then go and read ALL of the stickies in the Ion forum which is within the Smart Parts forum. Since this is your first gun you really should do this if you want to understand how it works, and how you should maintain it. It will also keep you from asking stupid questions which will only piss people off.

um...just want to know...if you DID (hypothetically) put some gun oil into the macroline is there a way. Just hypothetically (not really:() thing is, i played with it after i put it in, but everything was fine. the only thing is i was getting some wierd shots. They were about a foot off, but then it stopped:confused:

According to Delta, if it getting oil in your macroline will fry your solenoid, if this happens, your gun won't work. You probably just had some bad paint or some paint in your barrel or something.
Also, Delta, what type of oil isn't liquid

Frozen oil, and the products of oil combustion:D
Just put oil on the bolt orings and you'll be fine. Dow 33 works better than normal gun oil anyhow.

Use only DOW33 on the Ion. Using gold cup or similar oil will get into your 'noid and fry it, not to mention the lubrication doesn't last very long. If you've already done it and your Ion survived it, just don't do it again. Read the Ion forum stickies for further lubrication instructions.
