yes i do, last time i asked this question u busted on the angel so bad. If i were u, id buy a supped autocoker though with nitro. U cant go full auto in tourneys, so buy a gun thats gunna work great in semi mode.

They're nice!!! But I wouldn't buy one (I voted yes BTW). I have my eye on an Intimidator. BUT I don't plan on buying it until I find a better field to play at. The backyard ballin is fun, when the 4 guys I know that play want to play...unfortunately its not enough to justify buying an Intimidator, Angel, Autococker or any high end gun at this point. :(

Do I like it? no
If I was given an angel but i still have my primary marker, would I use the angel? no
Do I think the angel is worth the money? no

But,
Is an angel a good gun? Yes
Is it the best gun? No

That's the way it is with me. I never said it sucked, or that I'd play with my Spyder instead or anything of the sort, but would I use one as opposed to my current setup, no I wouldnt. That's all I meant by voting no

just the basic feel of the gun irks me, and I dont think it has quite as many features as some of the other guns available. And a gun that uses it's own special batteries is a nono in my book. That's just a hassle, and if a 9 volt dies on you, it's beyond easy to get a new one. That, and I like my gun to have the gentlest and least noticeable kick possible, and the angel has a bit more than I like. Certainly not enough to throw off your aim, but I like my gun as smooth and gentle as physically possible. Though it truly isnt much of a big deal at all, the gun just doesnt feel right in my hands. The stuff I mentioned is nit-picking, it's not why i dont like the feel, It's just the only ones I can describe.

Angels have been riding on reputation for too long now. They had their days, for a while they were the best out there, but, if there had never been such thing as the Angel in the past, and the vast hoard of electronic guns that was available today still existed, and then some British company suddenly came out with this just-as-fast-as-any-other-electro, runs-at-higher-pressure-than-other-electros gun, and sold it for the same rediculous price, people would say things like, "for that price it should have an anti-chop eye!", "It's just an open-bolt Excalibur that costs more!", "It's just a prettier, bigger, and higher pressure Bushy!", and most of all, "$1300, what the heck are they thinking! Do they want another Boston Tea Party?" There are a lot of guns out there that are at least as good that barely cost half as much. I know I'm back on the price issue again, and I am certainly NOT saying that Angels suck. They rock. However, they still don't have all the options and everything else that all these less expensive electros have. If I won an Angel, I wouldn't even shoot the thing before I sold it (not that I wouldn't want to, just that "never been used" raises the price). For that money, you could get 2 Shockers, 2 Matrixes (Matrixi? Anyway, a plurality of Matrix markers), 2 Intimidators (Almost), 2 Defiants, 3 Bushys, 3 Impulses... shall I go on? Or, you could get a really tricked version of any of the aforementioned markers or a really nice air tank or whatever. I gah-ron-tee (Cajun accent) that you with your new Intimidator and your new-friend-for-life (or son, or daughter, or dad, or brother)that you just bought an Intimidator will do a lot more whoopin' than just you with an Angel.
BTW, this was not directed at you, Gogged, you must realize this because after all, you're getting a Timmy. :D

The question is "Do you like the Angel?" It does not say why you do not like it! And you are the duma$$ that said that people were too poor and jelous to buy it so they didnt like it! I dont think that the Angel as a whole is totally unnesassary! As for the "$$" factor by your admission of it bieng a "factor" it is a reason to not like the angel! I said, if you were to get your head out of your a$$ long enough to digest what you read, money is not a factor for me! i do think that paying over a grand for a starting platform of a gun is rediculus in itself but I could buy one if I wanted one! I DONT LIKE THEM!

Ive heard bad things about the angel , such as poor trajectory for one. Ide get Something like a Bob long Timmy or a Shocker 4x4 before I got an angel, though some of the custom angels are dead sexy :)

I voted NO, why?? I think you've said all the reasons. It just costs too much. If I started playing serious NPPL crap, I might consider it..but than again I would spend more time filling the hopper than actually shooting it. If you wanna gun that shoots FRIGGIN fast than buy an RT, 26 bps without any measurable drop off, oh wait..no thats not fast enough! I hate to break it to you but if they don't like it because it is overpriced then that is a legitimate reason. Personally, I don't like them because the only things that they really have to boast about are speed, trigger pull, ease of cleaning, and efficiency. Looks too, but then again you can use all that extra money that you saved (regardless of whether or not you think it's important you still saved it) to get ripper milling and anodizing for another gun, and that will leave the Angel in the dust as far as looks. IMO, a stock Intimidator looks better than a stock Angel anyway. Anyway, back to speed, trigger pull, and efficiency. All electro guns are very fast, many are as fast or faster than the Angel. Nearly all are too fast for any current hopper. Other electros have triggers as good or better than the Angels, while others go for different styles. For example, the Matrix has the same type of trigger as the Angel, but the Matrix's trigger is actually even better. The Intimidator and Bushmaster have triggers that are completely different than the Angel's, which are more geared towards actual speed than towards having an impressive trigger pull. As far as ease of cleaning, most other electro guns operate at lower pressures than the Angel, and many have features that won't allow them to break a ball, so they don't NEED to be cleaned as often, and other guns are not much harder to clean. As far as efficiency, that is definitely one of the Angel's stronger points, but it's not any better than, say, an Intimidator's. I really want to hear from somebody what exactly it is that makes Angels so good. All I've ever heard before in response to this type of question is something like "they're just sweet!" or "everyone knows Angels are the best, why don't you?!". Idunno, I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion, and you will never catch me saying that Angels suck, because they definitely don't, but they definitely aren't the best either.

look im not bashing all the other guns out there cause theres a good chance that i will run into someone who cant take the fact that their gun got flamed but the angel performs just as good as other guns...i didnt think this was a angel bashing thread but some of you are definitly making it that...as an angel owner i have to stick up for them but i wont say that they're better than all other guns...however, if you take a good look at the pro teams, you'll see that most of them shoot angels or cockers or shockers...ive had all of them and i have to say that the angel beats the crap out of both...dont get me wrong im getting a new freeflow but if i had to pic id take the angel...just my opinion

what do i like about it so far?
- haven't had a ball break yet... even tho i use cheap practice paint or paint that is more than a couple months old.
- so far i have only oiled it a couple times. talk about the maintenance... and since the new tool kit is coming out... whew this would make setting the lpr a snap.
- shoots accurate and consistently... well i have a freak set... so any gun with a freak = better accuracy. at the chrono i consistently get 285 for about 5 times.

what i don't like about it so far?
- people aim for the ppl with the angels.... everytime i play rec, i have refs calling me for shooting hot, or 10 guys with rentals aiming for the guy with the angel.
- people talking crap me and my angel after the game... my response "like i care...."
- or the guys at the chrono telling me to reset my velocity... even tho i have it set at 280, 285 exactly.
