i was thinking of some way o make a new type of trigger for markers. im putting thishere cuz it would be custom.but any how this is what was thinking. some how set up 2 triggers right under each other so it looks like a duble trigger but its seperated. but each has its own sear. and u would pull them one at a time not simiutainulasy(sp) and i think u would be able to get some ripping speed with it cuz just imaging it and moveng your fingers like it its faster then trying to move 2at the same time. so when ones pulling the othr is releasing and presto u have fast gun. so is it posable to build r mak some thing like that. and no one take my idea i have patent on my idea its called a .308 rfle and blood thirsty dobermans

Good idea, the 2 sears would get in eachothers way tho and if both were up ud have to shoot both triggers. maybe if u had like 2 guns welded together lol i duno explain

I'm not really sure how having two sears would work. If they were side by side wouldn't one catch while the other one is firing? Maybe if there was one sear, but with the trigger designed to alternate, like how bicycle pedals work, when one is up the other is down and so forth. So, when you fire you would shoot pointer finger, middle finger, pointer finger, middle finger, etc. Sort of like how pistons in a car work with them alternating opposite from each other.

I really don't think it can be done with out making the thing, the marker real large. Thats why Palmer's uses 2 barrels and 2 bolts. But it still worth investigating the options.
If it small enough you'd might be able to make a few bucks off the idea

DId you think about it this way? Do it to an electro and just use to different switches? Wire them in series so either one could fire the gun? Well...series or parrell, Series pretty sure. That would absolutly rip, then you wouldn't need to sears!!! OMG, WHAT AM I DOING I SHOULD DO THIS AND PATTENED IT!
DELETE THIS...jk

2 sears could work and still be small just make them thinner and stronger to compinsate fo the thiness. then put like a small bal bearing on one to let the 2 rid away from eachother alittle bit and just roll past eachother. but the electro oes agood idea, i wanna ge a hold of a scanner and i'll post pics of what i had in mind. i gotthem all drawn out from when i get bored i also got a couple of gun designs.

Scan me what you have in mind. Hell easiest thing to do, set two single triggers up, one above the other then have them both activating switches, and just drum the thing.

Yeah I'm curious to see what you're talking about too.
Heres an idea, how about a trigger that fires both on the back and foward motion of your finger? Like having a ring trigger where every pull foward and each pull back will make the marker fire, so you'll be shooting twice as fast?
Now that I think about it.. that sounds kinda dangerous.

Yeah, I thought about that too, except its the same as some of the firing modes on the gensis boards (where it fires when the switch is activated and fires when released).
I like the idea though

Heres the thing about drumming your fingers...knew I saw it before. www.docsmachine.com (God how I would love to spend a summer with this guy and learn all this stuff!)

Hey, I'll scan it tomorrow but I was drawing in my anthro class and I had an idea. Ok take a ring trigger, put springs on both sides. When you pull back it hits one switch. OK release returns to "center" then push it forward and what? Put another switch in front, triggers that one too. Release and returns to zero. All you do is set your trigger distance, then set the second switch (front one) on a cam so you can push it close enough to activate. I'll scan it tomorrow.
