for the price of a good spyder with new barrel you could get a tigershark, semi auto kit, remote, harness, and a new barrel! that would be a sweet gun! better than anysemi! who agrees with me? or am i just an insane brass eagle freak. you dont have to be nice!

The problem is Brass Eagle guns don't work very good and they brake really easily. Spyders and Tippmanns will definately outlast any brass eagle marker! Also a third choise if you are looking into buying a Tippmann or Spyder is Pirahna. They or almost identical to spyders.

Im not saying brass eagle sucks or anything. For the price I think they are great guns but from what I have seen they are no where near as durable as alot of guns out there. I have seen alot of them malfunction etc. but I know for the money they are very nice!

people might choose tippmann or spyder over Be because of the things that are usually associated with BE. I have a tigershark by the way, where can i get the semi auto kit? also, tippmanns can take abuse that is just plain wrong to do to a gun and work fine.
why the hell would u buy a brass eagle instead of a tippman or spyder, u would have to be a retard or a newbie to get a brass eagle they break to easy plus they suck

Interesting question, but no matter how much people dis brass eagle, BE holds the largest piece of the paintball industry pie. Dis them all you want, it don't matter to them. They are making $$$$, and as long as they are still making money, you will continue to see their products on the shelves.
yeah their makin money but they suck i bought a raptor and it broke down in like 5 min. :yell:
That is a very sad but true statement. I really do not understand why Kingman has never actively attacked the BE monster.
They make a better product, way better! They could sell there compact for 45.00 if they wanted to! The quantity sales would more than make up for any loses. The sport would benefit from new players that will stay around longer.
Many new players quit shortly after being financialy raped by BE.
They spend what little they have and get jipped! They get pissed and dont play again becuase they belive you have to buy an expensive marker, for the marker to atcually work. Thats really sad. Whats even worse... it really puts the sport down.
While I really love kingman and the product they put on the market. I must admit that I really am happy that M3 has come out with the Black Dragun. This fantasic new marker is forcing Kingman to react. The prices for the non and electro markers from Kingman have come down. I hope that Kingman continues that trend! I hope that they keep lowering their prices... not just to be competative with M3, but to cut into the BE rien of horror.
They make lots of money mainly cause new people buy the cheapest guns. Try this post in the other forums and look at your results...

Dude I had a Samuri,Talon, and a Raptor. My friends got a Talon and Silver Eagle. That's what we started with.Kinda ironic the same day both my Raptor and my friend's Silver Eagle broke the same parts at the same min.My Samuri was bought broke, lol and I still ahve the Talon today which I have done some home upgrading and made it "Tournament Ready".Allthough I have yet to test it in an actually game,I have shot it in my yard and its a huge improvement ,but its still a crappy version of what is supposed to be a pump.Anyway point is BE stuff,as crappy and cheap as it is,only last long enough for the newbie who has it to deicde if he wants to really get into it or just play once a month on weekends. It's also fun for non newbies to tinker with them lmao.

I dunno why people say that "They suck" and stuff is just rumors. Everything i've tried of brass eagle has been pure crap. the paintballs , almost 80% broke in the barrel or hopper or on the floor if you drop it (even on carpet)
the tigershark was CRAP, broke a lot of balls and the most inaccurate POS, i mean sure every 1/5 balls would go relatively straight, but all the rest would just curve and hit something else, or nothing at all
the blade was the WORST piece of crap, i mean sure if you got one that worked and stuff it would be great for the moneys ($40 canadian), but still it busted in two days (i stepped on it by accident in my messy room, the handle busted off)
same with the samuri

Brass Eagle might have so bad of a reputation, that every one thinks brass eagle sucks more than they really do. I still would probably go for a Spyder, Piranaha, or a Tippmann c98! They have much more upgrades, they are more accurate, and yes, they do last a lot longer! My friend has had to replace 3 Brass Eagle Avengers in the last 7 months!
Brass Eagle just needs to get their act together. They make horrible paintballs! It would be really easy to get there markers working together like Spyders, and Tppmanns! Just I dont think they try that much. To me Brass Eagle attitude might be like this. Who cares if our customers get bad guns, as long as we make a lot of money. But that is what I think of brass eagle as a comany and their guns.

brass eagle has had problems,in the raptor the connecting pin is a problem, get a stainless one and problem is el SOLVED,god that is an easy fix eh?,and on the thier paintballs, take any paint you want, including diablo, stick them in wal-marts stoargae houses for 4 months and then on the shelves with people squeezeing the bottles and crap for a month, not too good of paint now eh?,and onto the stingrays durability, quake i believe it was from STING put a .22 bullet into his stingrays valve area, and well it worked flawlessly even after that,if you take care of your gun it will take care of you,get a spyder and treat it like crap, gaureenteed it will shoot like crap,i have seen 3 spyders go down on stuff that shouldnt have broke, grip frame snapped on one spyder(compact)another grip frame frame snapped on another(compact 2k) a valve broke(the valve needs replaces, new cupseal and all has been put in is actually the valve),but let me guess since these werent on be guns people will say it was user error?,maybe just freaks of the liter?,i have seen a lot of spyders go down, none that needed parts that sholdnt have broke liek this, but go down none the less, and when they go down and they stop playing cause they dont have a back up and tell me they dont wanna use my ray cause its be,i just smile and nod because it was one more kingman gun dropping before my ole BE

You guys are insane. I've had some newbie shoot SAND through my Shutter and after a good cleaning it worked flawlessly. However, despite oiling andcleaning my Stingray II, I STILL chopped every third ball, had recocking problems, and became so frustrating I finally sold it. My EXPERIENCE with BE tells me their only good gun is the Rainmaker, which BTW, is an incredible machine IMO. However, it's the only one they got right.
BE could make quality products, but instead they're making plastic cheapo ones so they can make more money by saving on materials. I'm sorry, but BE has earned its reputation.

i do agree with the rainmaker being the best gun they ever made,i cant for them to release it again, mmm a RM2:),a tip of the ray chopping, check the bottom of the bolt where it hits the ball detent, with the detent being a harder metal it puts a point on the bottom of the bolt that breaks the balls,if you have that point on yours just sand it off

so a stock spyder shutter is better then a stock be rainmaker:
i perosnally would prefer a shorter electronic trigger to that of any spyder
a stock regulator that actually works as supposed to with nitro over that thing thats a sad excuse fo a regulator kingman uses
a good jacko type stock barrel over that thing kingmann sells anyday of the week
and verticle feed is a plus, and especailly when its a vert feed that dont require nappy looking plastic striaght elbows
R U guys all kidding me? The rainmaker sucks so much i can't even begin to tel you. Just go to the review part of this site and start reading. NO matter what you little B.E. freaks say B.E> sucks major. So i don't really care wht you say. frankly anyone who comes in these forums and defends B.E. should know better. They suck and are cheap pieces of crap for people who like to buy stuff at wal mart. Man you guys are funny.   :P :P
I'm sorry for what I said. B.E. makes good entry level guns for beginers. Thats how most pb players get introduced into the sport- thats how my brother and i got into the sport. We had talon Gosts
