About spyders... don't get the shutter or the se. Get a compact 2000 instead. After, upgrade it by adding a palmer stabilisator regulator, a turbo valve, a bottomline, new barrel, drill out the holes of the vertical adapter, polish you internals and remove the ventury insert of the bolt (I can explain you how to do this). It will cost you about the same price than a shutter, and it will perform 10 times better. The regulator on the shutter is crappy, the barrel is not very good and the shutter is a bit harder to upgrade than others spyders. With all the upgrades I mentionned, you will have a low pressure spyder well regulated and with a good barrel.
The SE is not a bad gun, but he's not great. He does not have anything special.

Actually on a review in paintballmagazine they gave the shutter good reviews especially the reg

It does not really matter if the reg is good or not on the spyder shutter. It still does nothing because it is before the expansion chamber.

Then what would be cheaper to upgrade?Or better a SE or compact 2000 I heard they chop up balls, but you could get a new barrel.I like the design of the SE and I do nt think the upgrade of an SE would cost as much as the shutter

Spyders chop balls if balls are not feed fast enough. Get a revolution and you won't chop balls anymore. The upgrade of a se would cost about the same thing than the upgrade of a compact 2K or a shutter. You will always have to buy a new reg (unless you want to keep the one on the shutter), a new valve, new barrel, spring kit etc. The only difference is that you will need to buy a bottomline for your compact 2K, but the price of it is not even the half of the price difference between the compact and the se.

Excuse me if sometimes you don't understant what I say, my english is not great.

maybe I should just buy a tippmann 98 it would be cheaper just get a new barrel and something so you wont here it and get something to improve accuracy.

yeah thats sounds like a good plan. I have a couple of friends that have m98s and all they needed was a good barrel and it works great. But I will be getting a cocker 2k very soon... its kinda driven my crazy cause I can't get it yet but what can I do. So yeah tippmans are very efficient and duriable guns if you like bunkering which I do sometimes now and then........

No get the compact and upgrade, it's a good plan, ok heres what to get for a CO2 setup. Shocktech bolt, ACME xchamber, a new lp chamber and an Execel barrel or a bigshot, if you want another sweet upgrade get benchmarks, and you will kick and m98 with anew barrels butt

x-chambers are a waste of money! Get a regulator instead!!!

A new lp chamber is also a waste of money. The stock one is good (lp chambers are just a hollow tube). Don't buy a new bolt, just make some home mods on the stock one (removing the venturi insert with a pair of long nose pliers). Buy a compact 2K and make it lp, here's what you need and (my suggestions)

-regulator(palmer stabiliser)
-turbo valve (taso turbo valve)
-spring kit (madman spring kit)

It's all you need for lp, plus you also need to drill out the holes of you vertical adapter a bit bigger (3/16). It's very easy to do. Remove the venturi of the bolt and polish your internals. Get a new barrel(lapco bigshot, best for lp use). You will also need a spyder compact 2K bottomline kit (u can get one for 25$ at http://www.paintballgear.com ) You can get all the rest at http://www.g3pb.com . G3pb also have a very good spyder upgrading faq section, take a look at it.
