I'm looking for sniper scope (the ones you see on sniper rifles) for the 98 custom. Are there scopes like these for the 98 custom? if there are I'm looking for one that is cheap but durable and decent.
any help would be welcome

The best scope is no scope. Paintballs aren't accurate enough for a scope to be useful, and it will only slow down your aim and narrow your field of view. Plus, what do you think will happen when a paintball makes a direct hit on the objective lens?

If you are going for that mil-sim look for your gun, there are a few things you should bare in mind while shoping around.

1. The 98 has a 3/8 dovetail rail. It will accept standard scope rings. So you can get pretty much any scope you want.

2. You want a scope with flip up protective covers. This thing is going to catch a lot of paint, and when it does you dont want the lense to shatter.

3. 2X-5X magnification. You want a little magnification on the scope, as the only usefull purpose of a scope on a paintball gun is to see if that black object 200+ feet away is a players mask, or a downed tree.
