If the max flow messed up, what would happen? Would all of my air rush into my gun, blowing my solenoid, costing me alot of cash, or would it leak 1st. Then i take it off any clean it, and then im back in business?

As long as you have the PRV installed, that should protect your Imp from damage.
From there you will more than likely have to get a max-flow repair kit and replace some o-rings.
I would not worry about it, you do not often hear about max-flow's "quitting" on people and considering the number of Impulses, Shockers and max-flow tanks in the world, you should be ok.
99% of the time that fokes have a "problem" with their max flow, it because before the gun was gased up, someone was twisting knobs and then when the gun is aired up, the reg is "set" for a very high pressure. this will often damage the gauge. will always cause the PRV to vent, and sometimes blow the Solonoid pad.
I have never seen a Max Flo go "full flo"-- That is suddenly dump full tank pressure thru the reg. I'm not even sure it could with the presure compasiting design. (going "full flo" is a problem with some of the cheaper screw in tanks. in fact we had so much problem with it, that we no longer carry the Crossfire brand because of it)
If you do over pressure the Impulse- most of time the PRV will prevent major damage (asuming you havn't removed the PRV!!!)
Also on bottom reg Impulses, the air line from the gun to the reg is designed to rupture at about 350 psi
