First of all i did read through all the stickes.

Anyway, I recently bought an impulse and the speed at our local field is 250 fps. The gun is upgraded (see sig) and that includes the LPR kit from New Designz. How do i get it so the gun is balanced as far as velocity and efficiency by using the max-flo, LPR and dwell settings?

Any help soon would be greatly appreciated because I would like to play some games with it on Friday.

Thanks

more specifically http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=2370095%20/ , article should be labeled differently in the faq. Read both part 1 and 2.

Alright this is how I see that, and correct me if im wrong:

1. Set input pressure on Max-flo to about 150

2. Reset dwell as low as possible

3. Adjust the Dwell until its at about 280 fps on the chrono

But then how does the LPR factor in and my field speed is 250, i would not be able to play if I was shooting at 280.

This is for the stock valve... for RIP valve do what is in the parenthesis....
Go to the chrono and

-set input to 150psi (110psi) In your case try something like 110, even though u dont a rip valve
-set lpr output to max/150psi (120psi)
-adjust dwell till the gun shoots 300fps (set dwell till it shoots 280)
250 for u
-raise input to 200psi (raise input to 130-150psi) raise proportionately
-lower lpr's output till the gun shoots 280fps-299fps (same) etc

-Do not forget that this is definitely not set in stone, and varies a bit from impulse to impulse, even those with the same parts, so be ready to fiddle... around with you impulse that is...

don't mess with your dwell.

indoor fields here are 250 also.

just adjust your lpr
