98 Custom Detent Installation

My friend took apart and reassembled his Custom 98, and now the balls are rolling out the barrel and double-feeding. Anybody know what the problem is, and how it could be fixed?

is the ball detent in there at all? has it been damaged or bent out of proportion? cuse if its been smushed toghether then it wount detent. and make sure its in the right way. i had to learn that the hard way:P

Heh, thanks. We figured it out... apparently when he disassembled his gun he misplaced the ball latch altogether. Thanks though. :)
