heck, there's a thread about "you know your addicted to paintball when" ... so for those of yall who want to be addicted to paintball, but arent quite there yet (aka, NOOBS) this thread is for YOU!

ive started it... feel free to add more, and oh ya, i do not mean to hurt any feelings or offend anyone, this is just good clean fun

you know your a noob when...


you say that your spyder is an "autococker"
when someone mentions "cleaning their eyes" you wonder why they werent wearing a mask
you play in a paintball "war" with your new "gun"
your VL Orion says "tournament grade" and you think your good
your paint comes in a white bucket
you wear camo to look cool
you dont wana look like a "renter noob" so you buy a BE blade
your body armor is stronger than a military FLAK jacket
you wear body armor
you try to get the ref to call timeout so you can reload
you buy a Spyder Xtra cause it cost alot on Greg Hasting's
you think that your 98 Custom is the best marker ever
you dissagree with anything ive just said

I don't think anyone wants to say they are a noob. A few of us "experienced players" will have noobish moments, but it won't usually go beyond that. Plus, there is a "Funniest thing Newbs have said to you or asked" thread;)

Story: A team at a local tourney I was playing at was playing their first tourney ever. A ref was walking in a dead lane to get a better position on a player, and this kid who was shooting a 98c (I have no idea how anyone can play speedball with those...) and he turned and aimed real fast at the ref. You could just see the "WTFOMG" look in eyes. The kid didn't fire though. Everyone on the sidelines kinda gasped all at the same time. But yeah, you know you're a noob when you do that.
