What do you think is the best marker out of these four: Terminator T3, Model 98 Custom, Spyder Shutter, and Pirana G3.
Look for upgradability and ease of use(like for a beginner)

Well Terminator I would go with the Shutter;)
The Shutter just comes with a lot of stuff such as a regulator, expansion chamber, double trigger, and it is 160$! The Shutter is very upgradable too. The only thing that someone might want to replace is the hose line... I would just get a steel braided one for 15$ So I guess the Shutter is 175$ But once you get that one the Shutter its set!

But I think all the guns you listed are good. Just I think the Shutter is the best for what you pay for!

You're asking in a biased forum. Heh.

My vote goes with the Tippy Custom 98. It's only $124. Sure, you'll need a new barrel, but, the thing is durable and doesn't hardly ever break down. (I haven't had a problem with mine yet...)

Have not had a single problem on mine either (exept the Micro line hose)

Well since you are asking about this for newbies that probably won't get many upgrades right away, I think that the spyder shutter is the most accurate, the tippmann is best when upgraded, and the piranha sts g3 has the best trigger pull stock.
I have never used a t3 though

I would go witha Tippy because I had a Spyder Xtra, and it had a few problems. For one the saftey was messed up out of the box, the exp. chamber was pretty bad, the trigger pull is long (but easy), the beaver tail used to get loose during a game, the screws which hold the grips on are easily stripped if your a person like me. I also had a hard time ungrading it because most companies don't make specific items for it. In addition, even with my Boomstick it didn't have the best range. For a woodsplayer like me, it's also bad because it is shiny blue. I'm going to use my Dad's F4 for a while (I'm selling Xtra+Boomy), then getting a black C98 with a few good upgrades. I wish I had got one sooner, I think the Tippmann is a better marker, and out of the box it has no problems, or at least not with any of my friends.

Well...if you post anywhere else besides a Tippy forum, everyone is prolly gonna say Spyder...I dunno why...maybe just because the Tippy doesn't reseamble a capgun like those Spyders. Funny thing is...you can buy Spyders @ Wal-Mart...not dogging Spyders or Wal-Mart...but they are quick to attacky M98s...so I'm gonna bash Spyders in my house (Tippy forum). They say there are more upgrades for the Spyder...but I think it's easier to apply upgrades to the M98 Custom. Anyway, I almost sold my Tippy and got a Black Dragun Pi E-1 but I think I'm gonna stick w/ my Tippy, even though it is rather long for speed ball...with my 14" Carbon Fiber barrel I'm a good Center/Back player w/ it and it's so durable...not to mention it looks like a Tommy gun...they are great for those WWII scenario games. I know a lot of ppl don't like to associate paintball w/ wars...but the scenario games are still GAMES...and if ppl can't seperate reality from paintball, then that's their problem, not the sport of paintball. But anyway...I love my M98C...I got it about a year ago...I've been playing for about 3 years...just borrowing/renting guns for 2 of those years, then I decided to buy my own marker, and I love it.

the only time you'll see me again is while you're walking off the field after getting bukered by my pgp 2001. (camping is bad).:P
