Scope help

okay for all you newbs out there scopes cant be used worth a poop
but anyways my rookie friend is talking bout buying a scope with nighvision,red dot, and all that jazz.... i think hes all out crazy hes also wanthing a 16 inch barrel and a bipod thinking hes a "sniper" and i showed him wrong that hes not a sniper and now he thinks hes a "sharpshooter". firstoff i post this forum because i need some info over scope to paintball ,how to persuade him into not wasting his money and buying a scope? anyway id like to start off that paintballs, are not like bullets, they a circulur and are not a accurate projectile in general compare to real bullets, designed to go fast and kill with accuracy without really having air resistance. and sometimes needed a scope to home that fact. on the other hand paintballs are quite dif. anyways thats what i got, any ideas boys n girls? hit me.

Tell him he will look like a doofus. But seriously, tell him if gets hit in the scope it will shatter and srcatch his mask.

Tell him to spend the money on more worthwile upgrades and high-quality paint, you generally can't mount a scope worth a :censored: on a marker anyways. But if he's determined to snipe at people then let him, just make sure he doesn't make a fool of himself while doing it.

The only reason that makes any sense for a scope in paintball is for looking like an idiot and spotting and scouting from farther away than the nekkid eye.

Tell him to buy a pair of binoculars instead. The range that can be reached with a paintball, even with an apex or flatline barrel, doesnt require a scope. If your target is that far away that you need a scope to aim at it, your paintball wont reach that far and even if it does it wont break. Tell him to stick to the red dot if he really wants to get fancy.
