How to get ur team sponsored

I just wanted to know we have a team but we're not very good yet but hope to be. So I hear people saying they get sponsored and they supply them with all of their guns and everything they need. So how do u even get them to look at u huh? Just let me know....

they dont give u everything, Were sponsered by the fiel that holds the tournys, a sports shop that give us free air, and discount paint, and then by paintball unlimited, which pays for tourney paint and gives us wholesalle forevryhting we buy. Just go to the palces and ask about it.

so how do you get sponsered

Just go to your local shop and ask, try to work out a deal. Big companies usually come to you for sponsorship, but don't expect to get sponsered by a big company until you've won some tournies, or had a good placing.

Sponsorship ist an easy thing to come by, and even once its obtained you will most likely just get discounts for a while before they even think of GIVING you anything.
A companies motive in sponsoring a team is very cheap advertising. So what do you think there going to look for? One of the first things to do to get sponsered is win or at least place highly in some local tourneys. The higher the better. Try to stick to major tourneys to, no ones cares about billy bobs hick tournament. Another thing sponsors like to see is magazine coverage. Most people think like whoa, i cant magazine coverage, but really its not that hard. 70% of magazines if you send them a picture are like "alright we can take up summore space" and theyll put it in there. Most actually really like getting pics of locals. Once youve gotten some small recognition you should make some kind of portfolio of your team members accomplishments, tourney placings, publicity, bio-s of your team members, and maybe an equipment list. To many people expect sponsors to come to them. No matter what you think its not the sponsors privelage to sponsor you its your privelage to be sponsered. Now that youve built a small team portfolio start handing them out! dont be discouraged if you dont sponsered right away, it takes alot of teams many years and tons of trys to get sponserd. Dont give up. Now once you finally get a sponsor youve got the hardest part done, now youve go to keep them. First off dont expect your sponsor to hand stuff over, if your lucky theyl supply paint and air, IF YOUR LUCKY. Most sponsors will start just by giving you discounts. Maybe once your established with them and have gotten some major publicity your advantages will get better and better. Now a stores point is for advertising, so what do they want? they want you in their clothes 24/7. They want you to eat and sleep in those clothes. Dont wear anyone elses stuff. So now theyeve got advertising, but they want GOOD advertising. Youve got to be nice, if you can kcik As,s on the field but your all As,sholes off the field people arent gonna like you, and in turn not like your sponsor. You want people to admire you, to be like you. They newbies should look at you and say "I wanna be like them", so they go to YOUR sponsor and buy stuff.
So as you can see sponsorship isnt easy to get however it can give you an edge, AND serious braggin rights. Once youve got one sponsor its alot easier to get otherss, so just keep trying and youll get there.
