The pimp is a superior marker in all aspects because it is evil's higher grade marker that is fully electropneumatic, has a eye system and shares a design similiar to a timmies, it will be a much better marker all together, but if you are only looking for a marker as a rec play..not really looking at getting majorly serious or need for a true tourney ready marker, go with the omen, it has the best stock parts out of every marker out there in the sub-$500 catergory and will hold its own against many higher end markers

I shoot OMENS against Shockers, spyders, tippies, cockers and even a PM and all of these folks are amazed at how fast it is. I have never felt outgunned and can tell you that alot of Shocker, PM and cocker owners have all spent ALOT of time in the dead box.

^ I agree that the Omen is a great gun especially for the money. But if you can afford a Pimp I would get it. The Omen is a solid marker but the Pimp has many advantages over it. No moving back block to hit your mask, no recock to content with. The Pimp allows me to show up at the field, air it up, fill the hopper and go. It is a rock solid performer on the field and it has ramping options on the newer ones.
