Barrels for Maverick?

Two questions for you guys!

1) Is there a special type of barrel threading for ACI guns, specifically the Maverick?

2) Is it worth upgrading the barrel, or is the stock very accurate?

the maverick takes its own threads you can get them at small parts the stock barrel is accurate but loud (no porting) but you can buy stock barrels off of ACI for 14.95 and try your own porting

i just wanted to ask how do you like your vforce armor mask (im thinking of buying one!)

vForce mask, my review:

I think it's a great mask -- I'm ordering 2 more for my friends. I think this mask is comfortable, and enjoy how light it is. The pads are great. They dont soak up sweat and they're firm yet soft. It has never fogged on me, though my mask is a little scratched from my gun's beaver tail, it hasnt been scratched from trees or foliage. My friend (who wears glasses) has also said that my mask fits perfectly with them. Hooray.

Also, this mask is so cheap they dont sell replacement lenses (at least ones that I have seen). You can get one at piratepaintball.com for less than 20 bucks.

However... (uh oh, a HOWEVER section), I have not been able to put the visor on this mask because it's too flexible and doesnt 'snap' in place - at least mine doesnt. Therefore, my forehead is exposed and I've been shot there twice, but big deal. Also, there are holes near the ears for air and sound to get in, which poses a potential threat, but I haven't been shot there yet so I dont know what it'd do. Also, but this is personal, I like the look of the nVader better, but that mask is harder to clean and the padding looks like its a sweat magnet, plus its expensive and isnt fog-proof without a thermal lense. The Armor just doesnt look as 'hardcore' as the Proteus, nVader or JT Flex... but it also costs a third as much.

I suggest you get one, it's worked beautifully for me, but be sure to wear a hat while you're playing :D
