I just recently got my gun fixed. It took them a week to fix it and ship it back no charge to me. Exellent service.

revived because it's mine....
so the minion is under the evil warrenty, correct, or is it under a proto/dye warrenty?
also, if the board were to be fried, say by either paint or water, would evil replace it free? for life?

The Minion is serviced by PMI (Evil). I don't think it has a lifetime warranty though. Only the Omen has the lifetime warranty as far as I know. Though I know with Pimps they usually will help you out for the life of the marker unless it is abused. I imagine they would do the same for you on a Minion.

Well why don't they put a lifetime warrenty on all the guns?

Because "high-end" designs are incapable of absorbing the punishment that newbs give their markers: case in point, the ION. Which is designed relatively sturdily; but can be observed breaking down quite often due to the fact that a whole buttload of newbs pick it up and abuse it until it dies. On the flip-side, the Omen is pretty much newb-proof, most of the parts are machined out of relatively thick metal and your average noobie will have a hard time putting a dent in it; the only thing that isn't noob-proofed is the grip frames, and as far as fragile parts it only has a board and clapper-type solenoid; both of which are common and easy enough for the factory to replace.

"Officially" they don't. Though if you call them up about the Pimp you bought second or third hand that has a problem they may hook you up. The tech support for Evil is really good about that. I bought mine used and they replaced it's beat up detonator with a brand new one, no questions asked.
