I am sure that it would, but I heard that its much better to run a BM2K on an adjustable tank. I run mine on an adjustbale and it works great, but I have never fired it with a normal nitro tank so my frame of reference is limited. Anyone else wanna add to this?

If you have a gen5 or above, the BM2K has newer HP springs to accept a preset just fine. If it's gen4 or below, you can run a preset, just be aware that you are placing more strain on the HP than the earlier models were designed for. That being said, I know fellas who have run a preset on a gen2 for years with no probs.

there's a spring you can buy from icd for like 10 bucks.
you only need it if it's 3rd or older

It involves a few other pieces and I think it's around $25 from ICD. They started putting the new HPRs in the "5th generation" and above, so you need it if you have a "Gen4" or earlier. Do not call them and ask them about "Gen5" or "Gen4", they won't know what you are talking about because those are terms created by the players not ICD. Just ask them about the new HPR kit.

You can try contacting one of the ICD techs who frequent the BM2K forum on PBcity (Lumpy or Goldie), but your best shot is going to be calling ICD direct.
