I know all of the features of all the aftermarket boards, and I was wondering what are peoples personal expieriences, and opinions of their particular aftermarket boards.

I would personally suggest the Predator board, even if you don't want to modify your marker for break beam eyes. The reflective eye logic is better than that featured on other Shocker/Nerve boards which can have a noticeable effect on performance - the longer the eye takes to recognise a ball, the longer the delay between shots, and the slower and less responsive your marker will be.

The Predator also has more modes and more adjustments available than the other popular boards. The Predator feature set is quite similar to the Tadao M7 firmware, but the Tadao Shocker/Nerve board currently only has the M6 firmware installed, leaving the Predator board as currently the best board available for the Nerve (in my opinion).

In case you're wondering, I'm not supporting the board I own - my Nerve is actually fitted with a Virtue board, which I bought despite the Predator appearing to have the better feature set, because I wanted to see if the Virtue board lived up to all the hype. I can now definitely say that I would take the Predator board over the Virtue!

What about the eye logic of the Dynasty board? It says it can make the eye act as a break beam system. Now, given the fact that I know that this is not entirely true, Is it's eye logic on par, or superior to that of the predator?

Well, you are of course right, there is no way to turn a reflective eye in to a break beam system - that's just a bit of marketing hype. You would have to separate the two halves of the reflective sensor, and then reverse the eye logic (reflective eyes are looking for reflected light, while break beam eyes are looking for an absence of light).

The eye logic of the Dynasty board should be improved over the stock board, much as the Predator board's is, but this still leaves you with the M6 firmware, where the Predator has firmware comparable to Tadao's M7 firmware, so to my mind, the Predator board still comes out ahead.

When Tadao get round to releasing the Dynasty board with M7 firmware, then I'll struggle to recommend one board over the other. :| It would pretty much come down to a matter of preference at that point.

Do you know of anyone that has done the break-beam eye modification to their nerve? Also should their be any changes to the board immediatly upon purchasing, such as bolt stick, eye delay, etc...?

I've seen it carried out on Shockers, but not on the Nerve.

Or you could ask tagsportz.com, who distribute the Predator boards.

Good point, I'll ask them too.

I found out that Ydna did it to his Nerve. I think I might, if I find out a way to make good eye covers.
