I have a tippman 98c and playing on buying a HPA tank for it. MAny of my friend have bought and used HPA tanks on their spyders and try to go back to CO2 for a while and their marker wouldn't work properly. Would this same thing happen to my tippman if I were to use HPA and then go back a week late and use CO2

It shouldn't be a problem with non-electronic guns. I have switched from CO2 to HPA no prob. It doesn't make sense that a non-electronic gun would care what type of air you used. Was the Spyder electronic?

What probably happened is the liquid CO2 leaked into the gun and screwed up the electronics. Make sure you use and anti-siphoned CO2 tank or get an A/S hose. No prob with non electronic Tippy's though.

There shouldn't be any problems doing that on any Spyder or Tippmann. There problem was just a fluke. Don't worry about it unless you switch from HPA to Co2 in the matter of minutes.
