So i purchased an OPSGEAR AK FOLDING STOCK from opsgear for my a-5, and it broke/snapped/ripped my two back pushpins after a couple days of use. I called tippmann and told them the problem and they weren't all that helpfull on finding a solution to the problem besides taking the stock off and they sent me one pushpin... So i was wondering if anyone else had this problem with stocks as ive read its a pretty common problem. Any solutions? thanks.

I have the same stock. Yeah the fit is really tight to prevent stock wobble. I never broke my pins though. I just gently tapped them in and out with a light hammer and allen wrench. I wrapped some sandpaper around a wood dowel and sanded the inside of the stocks pushpin holes. Went very slowly untill I could get the pins in and out by hand. I also lightly sanded the round part of the stock that fits into the receiver. You can see the wear marks where the fit is tight. I sanded a little there too. Now I don't have to back it on the floor to get it all the way in.

What kind of sandpaper did you use? and did you sand the pushpin holes of the actual marker too?
Thanks

Went slowly with 200 grit. When I could barely get the pins in, I switched to 320 grit to smooth it out. Took about an hour in front of the TV. Also, the sandpaper gets filled with plastic shavings and needs to be changed every 20 strokes or so. Only sanded the pushpin holes on the stock. Don't try to speed up the process with a drill bit. I made that mistake on my first stock.(Tapco SAW stock)
BTW, how do you like the 8" Bigshot? I'm thinking of getting one.

Its great, like others have said a bit loud but that doens't really matter to me. I like the 8'' cuz its really compact for cqb. I play in a indoor field mostly and its about 25k sq feet field and i can get a good amount of headshots. However, if you play on woods or at a bigger field more i would look into getting the 10''. I like short barrels as a personal preferance, its definately a must for breaching/entry of buildings. I slide and rush people alot so a short barrel helps. hope this helps.
