is this bolt stick or another problem

i pretty much know what bolt stick is......where ur first shot is really low..... but listen......

i was out with it paintballin for da first time.....and i play back so i try to get people right off the break. id shoot like 20 balls right off the break, but the first 5-7 would be reaaaally low just like this bolt stick. i thought bolt stick was only for the first shot. was it juss cuz i was firing too fast? my guess is that i was shootin at at least 10bps off the break. so wassup with this??

adjust dwell or ur pressure.........also get a NDVFF or VFF or even do an ISO mod so u dont have bolt stick no mores

PBSouLjAh - You are mistaken my friend.

Bolt stick is when the bolt sticks forward and releases large amounts of air. This often happens on an Impulse that does not have an Isolation mod (Tapeworm, VFF, etc.) on it.

First shot low is exactly that, the first shot will shot at a VERY low velocity, in some cases not even having enough velocity to leave the barrel.

The problem you are describing almost sounds like shootdown. This is where you rapid fire and your velocity drops off. This usually happens with cheap HPA systems or when CO2 tanks do not have anti-siphon tubes installed correctly and the reg starts to freeze up.
