look into the REX line of markers...they have Type-R's for $129 US and are the better gun as compared to the Evo

Get a Spyder Imagine. End of Story. I'm holding my 04 Imagine and its amazing. It's quick out of the box but the barrel/feedneck needs to be replaced with better parts.

the REX type-r is great, however you might want a new board. the stock board is feature packed (it's amazing for a marker at that price) but the eye logic can give you chops. i'm told it's similar to the early wraths board, but uses reflective eyes in place of beam break and suffers from the early wrath's "eyes not registering shots problem". it's an awesome marker, but its antichop system is iffy. you'll need a fast loader like a halo or a new board to get rid of the chops. i hear the REX R3's eye logic is better. it is also a nice marker. if you can afford it, then i'd get the R3 over the type-r. ions and wraths are also good.

REX R3 - $189 (US)

shipping to canada - $20 (US)

True...but if you don't have HPA or a z-boarded eggy or better...get the R and hpa and or loader..

Type-R with HPA and Halo > R3 with CO2 and Revvy

R3 is definitely the better gun tho if you can affor hpa and the loader with it

If you want to buy in Canada to avoid the hassel of getting it across the border the only really good options out there for less than $300 are the ION and the EVO. If your willing to pay $400 there is also the ICD Promaster.

If you have $250 to spend (which is what the EVO costs in CND) then your choices are limited to the EVO, ION and Type-R, of which the latter two are better in theory, but the Type-R hasn't been extensively used yet.

And if you surveyed all the people with a spyder, you'd find out people either have more of Imagines or Pilots, not E-99. E-99 is an older model and the imagine has newer models coming out. So dont even say the imagine is a hunk of junk because your e-99 is the same thing as an imagine. [Newb]

Well then buy an ION! You can use a/s CO2 tanks w/ an ion and because it has eyes, it will limit the speed so you don't chop w/ the revvy.

matty's reccommendation since you're using co2 and revvy:

instead of new gun buy a HPA tank, sell the revvy and get at least a Z-boarded eggy if not Halo/reloader

Use those with your E-99 for a few months until you've raised enough money to get a better gun....that way you can get the most out of your purchase

An ION can theoretically work well enough on anti-siphoned CO2 and a Revvy, in fact; that combo is almost perfect for an ION if you want low speed, as the slow hopper limits you enough that it's very hard to achieve speeds that will freeze your ION's noid.

And FYI, a blowback is not going to go faster on CO2, it can take it better, but it will still freeze at high rates of fire.

oh, that's a really good point. condensation + ion's solenoid = bad, very bad. the FASOR markers can handel co2 quite well, as well as the condensation clinging to it's internals. oddyssey's promo vid for the 02 showed the marker being fed liquid co2 till the marker completely froze over, thawed then was repeated. if you insist on runnign co2 then i recommend a wrath off action village. they're currently $189.

It's not directed at you;)
If you really want to upgrade to a new marker now. The REX Rx, Ion and Wrath LTD are the way to go. I'd keep your gun, get better and go for a higher-high-end gun.

i dont want a high-end gun i dont go in tournaments or anythin like that i play at the field me and my friends made and sometimes go to some real fields
i just want a more dependable gun maybe a bit faster and some more stuff like a gauge expansion chamber maybe eyes or acs stuff like that i might stay with my gun and upgrade it but not sure yet

Don't bother upgrading your e99. If you like to upgrade stuff, get an ion. Keep your gun for now and see what comes up:|

How about a tippman A-5 no need for a faster hopper works great on co2 and is one of the most reliable markers out there
