Im in the market for a new mask. I know the new proteus is knda cool, and the anti fog specs on it are awesome. When you answer, take into consideration all your experiences withthe mask, especially anti fog capibilities.

Didnt get to play a game with one, but from trying one on, the proteus is super comfy, and I've heard good thigns about the acoustics of both the ear amplification things, and the foam baffle. And it really is amazingly comfortable

the proteus looks awesome, it comes with the jt fan and antifog lenses. and like you said, the new ear piece design helps with your hearing. I think ill go with that one. AS for the price, i remember when the jt ize masks first came out they were like 100.

You can buy the proteus without the fan and save yourself something like $40 and save yourself the added weight

I have the PMI x-ray. I think it's broken. Everything just looks the same!

Although I generally avoid Brass Eagle products slightly more than taking a whizz during a firefight, I must admit that their 280/Promask is outstanding. Not thermal, but it's never fogged on me. Great visibility, not too heavy, and VERY comfortable.

A little pricy tho...

I use the jt flex 7 ize. I like it. I play when it is 105-110 degrees out and it works well.
