Hey im new to paintball and wondering if there are any conflicts with a high pressure tank on a low pressure gun. I hae a promaster. If so what regulators or lpr or hpr would i need or work best

An HP tank will work fine with any gun but wont have %100 performance. There wont be that much though so it doesnt really matter. The upside to HP tanks is that you can use them with any gun as long as they are equipped with a regulator to regulate the air that goes through the solenoid (assuming its a solenoid using gun) in any other case it will be fine with or without.

I've never seen a disadvantage to HP tanks at all. They work on pretty much everything. I can't imagine an LP being better in anyway, the HP style gives a larger buffer between the tank output pressure and the output of the guns regulator, reducing the chance of shootdown.

Your guns regulator has no problem taking 800 psi and running it down to below 300psi, your gun won't know if the source was HP out or LP out.
Just my opinion.
