why doesnt tippmann release a tippmann effect 98 or A5 they would sell like crazy.

Well... a Tippy Effect gun may be able to match a lot of higher end guns BUT it is still bigger and bulkier. People would rather buy other guns that have less of a profile and less weight. Also, the reason a lot of people buy tippy's is because they require no maintenence. A EP tippy requires just as much care as a high end.

Tippmann Effect guns ARE NOT the E-Bolted uber modded guns you think they are.
Most likely they are just normal 98C's and A-5's sporting E-grips, WAS boards, and other modifications to player preference. Just like they've pretty much always been. The Trix boarded E-bolts and Frankenguns that are billed as "TE" markers...aren't.

If you put an E-bolt in it, Im pretty sure it makes it Electro Pneumatic, Which Is why it should be grouped into the High End Electric Markers....
