i cant decide whether i want to use the custom as my regular gun or my piranha, i have both but i cant deicde which one is better .

Why have other people decide this for you? Switch off if that's to your liking. I think they're both decent guns.

If you have both why do you care what other people think is better? If you can't deside which one to use for your main gun just use them both (not in a single game or even in a single day for that matter) until you start to favor one.

I personally have never understood this whole "back-up marker" thing. Why put $$$ into 2 markers when you could just spend it making the exact marker you want? If someone could explain the benefits of having a back-up I would appreciate it.

Well I find alot of people don't start out with the though of wanting a back up marker. Most of the people I know got a marker then later they got a different marker they wanted more. They deside that instead of selling the old marker they will just keep it to use if something goes wrong with the one they use for their primary.

That makes sense. In fact, I will probably be buying a new marker (most likely an Automag) in about a year or so, and I would never dream of selling my Tippy.

Backups. Purpose of these is at events. Such as ones where if something goes wrong with the "primary" gun, and there are no spare parts at the proshop or from friendly people to fix this... then you will have a backup for continued play.
