How does the Terminator T3 Compare to the Tippmann c98 in the sense of relability/durability, accuracy, ease of upgrading, price, and overall? Also why?

just give us time slug, holy monkey!
well really in performance:pratically the same
abuse:the m98 has a bit of an advantage, but not much
looks:t3 no question about that
upgrades:well for one you don't need to get a new trigger on the t3, and for two you don't have to worry about instantly getting a new barrel on the t3. also spyder parts (NOT ALL!) can go onto a t3 if you know what you are doing.
accuracy:same deal with both of them
in the overall, I prefer the t3 because an m98 feels weird in my hands, the trigger is crap, the barrel is crap, plus the electro grip frame for the t3 is way better then the electro thingy that goes on there.

I disagree with Y2K because, I think the 98 Custom is very comfortable! And the trigger isnt so bad, it could be better... but the pull is short and reasonably light. I think both guns rate about equal. I also like all the upgrade kits for the 98.

Yeah I like the c98 better! I was just curious why people liked the Terminator better! With a c98 you can get a double trigger kit and with that already super light trigger pull that would be the bomb! I also dont know a lot of upgrades for the T3 so I say c98 on this one!:D

c98 has a light trigger pull?!? well crows on a plate, that's news to me, pretty heavy compared to some guns out on the market.
plus another thing, you don't need any upgrades for the t3, perfect out of the box to play with for a long time without upgrades. I personally am an upgrade freak, so when I get my t3 it won't look like one (custom z grip frame if I can somehow get through the copyright laws *drools*). now I'm not tryin to bash on the c98, it's a good gun nevertheless, but tons and tons of people have never shot an inferno of any kind, but it is indeed a very nice blowback gun, give it a try guys, I'm sure you will agree.

I am a Rebel user and have tryed both markers. The M98 was a rentle before my ownership days. The T3 is paintballdiablo's. I must give the upper hand to the T3 easily. The 98 is nice but just doesn't have that indescriable "feel" that u get from the T3. I would say get the T3. ;)

I would say a T3. I would just add to the above positive comments about this gun, its alot easier to maintain. The Model 98 is just a pain to take out all of those screws.

Alright, here's some more info on why I like the T3 better.
Sure, the Tippmann is more durable, but the T3 has much better looks.
T3 is easy to field strip, the Tippmann is very upgradable.
The Tippmann is cheaper, but you ever see acouple year old tippmann? The paint just FLAKES off, the T3 is anodized
So...there yu have it. If you want durability and upgradability, go with the Tippmann, but if you want to compromise with a fairy durable gun, that is not AS upgradable, yet has many more standard features, plus the looks and feel, go with the T3. It feels more comfortable, and can definately shoot faster. And my motto? 'Accuracy by volume.' :D

Oh yeah....Y2K, the stock barrel ROCKS!
I shoot Severe paintballs (they're my favorate hands down:great paintballs) and fit the .689 bore exactly. I had 4 inch groupings....I **** you not, from 60-70 feet. STOCK BARREL....10 INCHES. This thing rules.
I have stock 10 inch for speedball, and a .689 Custom Products, 14 inch, for woodsplay.

OMG!!! What madness has been going on here. I guess I'll be blunt. The T3 rulez!!!!!!! No question. I've been playing with m98's for a while (its a good thing that I had been or I wouldn't have this story to tell) Well while we were getting ready one of there guns was acting retarded, so we played 2 on 1 and it was 2 tippmans (not stock) vs. my sweet *** T3. Lets just say that ......oh hell, I KICK THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF THEM. And of course they wanted a rematch and I still kick their arses. after the winning streak, I got tired and decided to let them use my gun. They all wanted it REALLY bad. They thought my gun was the shiz nit. And I agreed. In conclusion......T3's RULE!!!!!!

Hey, read what I said! :P
that is not AS upgradable
It isn't if you think bout it, but with the T3, you don't need upgrades, it works great STOCK!
well cept for frames, but the frame I'm getting is gonna be custom made, so to that!
Wrong....Mako Storm has one for the T3, got it, works great. I had to get it after feeling what an electro trigger feels like on a Cobra Angel. I was hooked ever since by the feel. LOVE IT! :D
