Unfortunately, you have a now rare hopper. They are no longer made, and there were never too many of them produced. What do you mean the board is too thick? Try to explain in lots of detail, i might be able to come up with a solution of some kind.

Yea I've been looking for one for almost a year at a reasonable price. The difference between the old revy's & the new ones is that the battery goes in the shell rotated a quarter turn. This makes the whole battery compartment "thinner" than the new ones. otherwise, I would just get a new x-board to upgrade the thing. I've been finding that only us "old guys" of the sport seem to know what these look like.

hmmmm...that sounds like it could be cumbersome. Would it be possible to jerryrig it so that the 9volts plugged into snaps? You could run these wires to the board, which could be hidden someplace inside the compartment? If you go to the airgun designs forum, I did a revy hack for my Intelleframe. Is there about the same amount of room inside as a 12 volt vl2000? I know it was cramped...but I think you could fit it in. Is there anyway you could get some pictures? Worse come to worse, you could keep the board on the outside of the revy (protected by something makshift) and run the wires inside the revy. To be honest, I have only seen the vl3000 on a gun, never actually held or examined it.

I've thought about soldering some wires to the contacts & twisting the board sideways. I would like to find an old board if possible, just to keep it clean. If not, the thing is plenty big enough to rig up some kind of home made technology. I'm just trying to avoid the whole R&D process.

sorry...can't help you there. I'm just an engineering student with lots of ideas:D
