yo guys, thinkin of steppin' up my game and getttin an E gun.............
what gun do you think i should get and why???
ahh i plan on playing tourneys and i think that this gun should at least be able to keep up with those other guys on the field....... speedball and X-ball

Well, Im going to reccomend a b2k4 w/pds. I know, I'm selling mine but don't get the wrong Idea. Its a great gun. Its got every mode you'll ever need for tournament leagues (w/ the nox board in it) and its e/p, so speed + virtually no kick. Its a cheap gun and it hangs with the best. You can find them for real cheap too, im selling mine for 250, but for a little more you could find one with a full barrel kit instead of just an ultralight. Another option is the ion, its highly upgradeable so I guess if you get the ion and put about 150 dollars in it you could get a new board, clamping feedneck and new trigger.

Ion is $200. It comes out of the box firing 17 bps w/out any upgrades. When u get it, upgrade the feedneck and buy a compressed air tank. Then you can play with it as is and slowly upgrade it as u go.

Or you could do that and pay about 100 dollars more...And the b2k4's capped at 36 cps, or probably closer to 20 bps.

CPS limits the BPS, not the other way around. The Ion will have basically the same CPS rate anyway. Most tourneys have you fire at 15 BPS too. And the Ion is a trayless marker and that's lighter. YOu still have to buy an asa(I'm assuming it's new.) and a feedneck. W/ the Ion you upgrade what you want to, and it'll be around $100 less than the B2k.

I'll have to say ion or wrath ltd both are nice guns and are ready to go right out of the box.

yea ill proably get the ion, i have like 91$ and a 60$ in credit for my xbox so yea

whats this "feedneck" that everone tells you to upgrade asap? is that the thing that the hopper connects to??? how much is it anyway?

The feedneck is where the hopper goes in. The asa is where the tank goes in. The feedneck will run around $35 or so. People usually upgrade an asa and trigger also. CHeck the Ion upgrade sticky in the Smart Parts Ion forum for more info.

Best ones to look at would be the SP q-lock and CCM no-pro feednecks.

Yea and a QEV is a must. The stock ions have horrible gas efficiency.

I never said the bps limits the cps...
The ion is a little lighter though. Once you take off the tank and hopper you can tell but w/ a full hopper and tank you won't notice. And I said used b2k4, not new. They don't make them anymore so any place you buy them will be cheap. My friend has one custom anno'd, board upgraded, aftermarket feedneck, reg, trigger, barrel, custom bushy mods from vaporworks and madpooh and demented products, and he's only asking around 250 for it. Its crazy fast, If I hadn't bought an ion i could have gotten it :( Im doing everything I can to keep it from getting sold, I want it so bad :D

Believe it or not, its faster for me to make a new post. So no.
They make "no rise" feednecks that make it so the feedneck of the hopper is almost touching down on to the body of the gun, if you can find one these would be the way to go :tup:

stop giving him suggestions...dude we cant tell you what marker you should get its personal preference get the one you want not the one we want ..dont buy a marker just because of its performance go to the local shop hold a few and see which feels the most comfortable
