Well I'm going paintballing this Saturday and I dont have the money to go to my local proshop and actually buy some quality balls. So I went to the local sports atourity and looked at all the paint. I saw two actual okay brands aside from the brass eagle paints. I saw JT freedom paint and Worr Domination. The JT was $24.99 for a thing of 1000 balls. They only had the Worr paint in 2000 cases, so I look at the price, $64.99:eek:. Way to much for that. So I bought 2 things of the 1000 JT freedom paint. So I get home and look at the reviews to see how good this stuff is, and I see and overall score of 5.2/10. My first thought was "S***, did I just spend $50 on peices of crap. But as I read on the reviews some people said the sucked, and some people said they were great. They have about the same bore size as my cocker' so the must be some what accurate. My question is if you have used this paint how did you like it. I mean I'm just going to a rec walkon field, not a tourney so I dont need super high end paint. Also if you have used these with a cocker' how did they work with it. Thanks.

Best thing to do is to shoot them and see for yourself. Maybe some people purchased them and didn't store them right, got a bad batch or something like that.

I've never even heard of the 'freedom' paint, but so long as you have a good bore match, or have a slightly bigger bore barrel, you should be set with JT stuff.

there isn't a big problem as long as they don't roll out your barrel. They aren't too bad for cheap paint but I would get zap chronic next time. Its only like 45 a case and much better. Add like 5-10 dollars for shipping and you would only pay a few dollars more for a much better paint. Also if you plan to use your cocker for a long time I would get a barrel kit. Its important with cockers (and all closed bolts) to have excellent paint to barrel fit because when your balls are rolling out your barrel its not a good thing.

Yea, I know about buying a barrel kit but I have to get the money to buy a decent one first. But overall its a pretty good paint to barrel match. My barrels .689 and the balls were .687-.688 so it's not horribly bad. I was actually suprized to find when I broke one of the balls open it had a very thick white fill. It seemed like it was thicker than normal paint. O well, I'll just have to wait and see until saturday.

You can get an Evil Pipe kit for 80 bucks thats probably one of the best barrel kits you can find for that money. If you are a little strapped for cash go for the pipe. Actually even if you have some money the pipe is a really good kit. And then you also have to worry less about what kind of paint you buy.

Why did you make a thread on this? If you already bought them just try them out. Even if you cant try them out until this weekend, you have no more money. So your stuck with them no matter what, it doesn't matter if we tell you they are good or not, your going to be using them.

Actually, I could take them back if I wanted to.

The freedom is a really watery fill.. I bought those to break in my reg. They weren't very consistent shape/size wise, and were also particularly greasy. Had a few barrel breaks. I'd take it back if i were you. Ordering paint online seems like the way to go. you can get good cases for around 40-45 bucks depending on how much you're getting.

Never underestimate cheap paint. I buy Worrgames Practice Paint for $30 a case, and it is awesome, I would have to say $40 quality. And I don't recommend buying paint online because you have to pay for the paint, then for shipping, and there are high chances that the paint broke on the way to your house.

Well, when I test thm today I'll tell how they did. I usually use cheap paint anyways so I think I'll be alright.
