View Full Version : new barrels
Im thinking of buying a new barrel for my spyder TL.
Im looking to spend up tp 100 dollars possibly SLIGHTLY over. (I would preffer mostly black as well)
Ive looked at LAPCO bigshot aluminums and also at DYE aluminums. Any others i should consider?? if not wich of the two i listed is the better barrel??
Thx in advance

I would suggust a J&J ceramic. Very smooth shot. Work well with Marbs.
Only $49 also!!

A palmer barrel with nickel plating should run you more or less $100 and is a very nice barrel one of the best actually

I'd go with the, "Dye Boomstick Ironmen Series. (http://www.paintball-discounters.com/cgi-bin/webc.exe/st_prod.html?p_prodid=110&p_catid=55&sid=5bW2dL0FoCg79ux-37101228878.67)"
It's $109.99 w/o shipping at Paintball Discounters (http://www.paintball-discounters.com/).
i might get a j$j ceramic
can anyone point me to some sites that carry it im having some probs finding it

I'm down to three choices:
Smart Parts Progressive
Lapco Big shot
J&J Ceramic
Any thoughts?

has anyone tried these barrels? I'm considering all 3:
Stone Cold
All American
CP 1 Piece

I've heard good things about the All american barrel, and a friend has one he swears by. He's got the 16 inch. A bit long for my taste though. One thing: It is very quiet, and accurate. I'm considering the 12 inch Smart parts Progressive or Tear Drop. J&J won't match my gun, and I'm too lazy and too much of a tightwad to buy a Big Shot and have to buy a new barrel plug.

I love my aa, but the boom stick also shoots real good, the jj is a good barrel as well, but id get the aa or the boomy

aa's are just as good as boom sticks, bt both of their porting is nearly immpossable to clear out mid game, and i don't like jjs, they can't take enough abuse
