Like any marker, it can be used in the woods as long as you don't mind the risk of it picking up some scratches.

If you need any other firing modes than semi or ramping, you might want to consider a new board. You may also find that other trigger shapes may be more to your liking than the stock one.

Other than that, there isn't any real need to upgrade.

The marker comes with a short drop forward, on/off ASA, and macroline already installed, so you only need to add a power source (CO2 must be anti-syphoned) and a loader (make it a fast one), and it's ready to play. Even comes with a battery, although mine didn't last very long.

sure you can play with the nerve in the woods, but if thats all you wanna do, then its prolly not smart to get one...this marker is a tourny gun and thats where it flourishes....it is fun to play rec and woodsball with, but speedball is where its at for the nerve
