Angels are lighter...By a lot. Some would say they aren't as durable as Tippmanns. Tippys are used mostly for woodsball because of their endurance. They might not be as fast, but you can still mod them to be close. They work fine in speedball. Its a great entry level marker, no matter what type of game you play. Angles have eyes, that keep the marker from chopping, but the 98c has A.C.T. now, and the A5 has its cyclone feed. So, its really whether you wanna start off playing with a top end marker, or start off slow and see if you like it. Like I said, you can make tippmanns almost as fast as Angles in the end.

in my opiniion

a tippman a5 is the top of the line gun for woods ball. it can be custumized to look like any thing . its reliable and its durable. if your sersouse in to woods ball you can buy the a5 and custumize the hell out of it and spend 700 to 900 dollars on it.
iv never played speedball but i have friends who are into it and like it .
the angel witch is a very good marker is the top of the line speedball marker ..
so they are the masters of paintball in the two diffenrent feilds of play i think

I'd rather have a smaller, faster, and quieter gun in the woods than an a5.

And an angel is not the top of the line marker.

like i said i dont no to much about speedball so i guess it isent a top of the line marker

as for woods ball the a5 is sick for woods ball because woods ball is sopost to be like real war situations and ment to be that way. i like the wait and size of the a5 cuz it resembles a real gun and sure its loud. but its loud for a paintball gun . thats just about as loud as real guns sound with silencers. but its all up to you opinion

Hmm, I thought it was all about stealth. Guess I was wrong.

Whats the difference between an Angel and a Tippmann besides ones smaller and can shoot faster?Weight, fit and finish, handling, ABUSABILITY(not to be confused with durability.), barrel threading, operating pressure, kick, required upgrades, required peripheral equipment, PRICE, sound, cycle speed, adjustability, out of the box options regarding looks, anti-chop features, placement of the feedport, ease of maintenance, amount of maintenance required, type of maintenance...I could probably go in for a while, but you get the picture.

The Angel is going to be a better marker all around b/c it is more refined. It is built to operate at a high level in one of the most demanding aspects of the sport. This isn't to say that both aren't good markers, but they have different overall purposes that they both serve quite well. The Angel is generally meant for a more demanding demographic of players than the Tippmann, so it MUST have some of those features or it will be outstripped by its competition.

In general the high end marker is meant to fulfill the needs of the sport in all situations(save the rediculous) and at all levels from weekend warrior reight up to the Professional baller.
