32 degrees whisper (never phiscly see it)
Smart parts progressive (Watched on mr2)

For cheaps (under 40) - Custom Products One piece
For expensive (between 40-80) - CP two piece or Evil Pipe Kit or J&J edge Kit.
For mad expensive (over 100) - Dye UL or Stiffi switch.

We already went over this Shane!:D
Custom Products One-Piece blows all of the barrels listed out of the water.
1. CP
2. J&J
3. Progressive
4. Whisper.

CP FTW. It usually costs $40, but J&J's can be found for $30-35.

The CP, J&J, and SP will be basically the same. Take your pick: You wouldn't know the difference if the barrrels looked the same.

I disagree. I own all 3 of those barrels, and the CP beats all of them in every category.

One more barrel to look at is the Lapco Bigshot, very accurate and efficient. It has a plainer, "realistic" look. So if that's what you're into take a look at that.

Even before the breaks the CP will still shoot much more accuratly. I have both and the CP rocks the Progressive.

So did I. ;) The only real difference is weight. The CP doesn't beat them in accuracy or anything like that - in all tests I've run.

Although the Progressive is terrible at ball breaks like you said, the CP really isn't any better. I had to shoot through plenty of ball breaks with my CP, and I always had to have a squeegee ready if I planned to ever hit anyone again.

Even before the breaks the CP will still shoot much more accuratly. I have both and the CP rocks the Progressive.

Negative as far as I'm concerned. I did a few accuracy tests a while back with a 14" CP and 14" Progressive. Paint/bore match was equalized, and neither barrel had a noticeable accuracy edge. I was expecting a CP win, but it didn't happen.

So from what I gather:
CP 1 piece: great but for wieght
J&J ceramic: Great and no faults
Smart parts progressive: Piece of crap when barrel break
32 degrees whisper: No comments

CP barrels are pure hottness. The inner bore is a mirror like finish, its super smooth and is micro honed to perfection. They are commonly sold as a .689 bore for the 1 piece. Its great for rec ball. Ive got a 16inch CP for my E2 cocker, and i shoot darts. Very accurate. Therefore:

CP - superb barrel at a superb price
J&J - Good barrel but does not shoot thru breaks as well as CP
SP Progressive - looks nice
Whisper - pure crap

if your talking about the normal ceramic, its not going to be the best at ball breaks, but if you get the s2, for 30$, it is basically the same accuracy, except it looks better, shoots through ball breaks exellently, it even says so in the advertisement, and its much quieter than the original ceramic. s2 ftw!

The S2 is like the newer version of the Ceramic.

I use a 14'' PMI Razzor barrel for my Rodeo. It works awesome. Get either that or a J&J ceramic barrel.

I have CP on my Tippmann. It works very well, I am very pleased with it. Doesn't seem heavy to me. Never had to shoot through a break with it.

I have also heard good things abour the J&J ceramic but I've never seen one or tested one.

CP is prob ur best bet But, IMO i think this barrel is better then all of those. http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4333/ (http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4333/)
You will be able to add two more bores and use one thread sleeve per marker thread.
14" length
0.689 Bore standard
One of the lightest aluminum barrels on the market.
Marker thread sleeve can be removed easily to switch the barrel to your back up marker.
More thread sleeves and colors/finishes coming ASAP.
Thread sleeve has a shorter look while no loss in performance.
Fantastic performance, and you dont have to skip lunch for two weeks.
Make sure you read it all and if you decide to get it (you will) go to their website.

That looks like a really nice barrel, and since it is made by Lucky then it will probably be good. It looks very comparable to the CP, but since there isn't much feedback on it I can't really tell if it actually is good or not other than what I read from the reviews. So right now I say the CP or that Lucky barrel.

CP FTW my two piece shoots like a dream.

That lucky barrel only has 5 reviews. Not trustworthy, and there are reasons why so many people have CP one-pieces...

They rock!

Someone said it earlier, try the Lapco Big Shot. The only difficulty is in finding one for sale.

I would take the Lapco barrels over any other one piece barrel.

Which J&J should I get the S2 ($41 w/ship) or the version 1? ($33)

babustos

S2 has pretty much nothing over the normal Ceramic. Especially if its $7, get the normal Ceramic or version 1.
