I haven't tested the Linear, but SP barrels in general are very good. I don't see a big enough advantage for the competition's barrels to warrant a different selection.

There good, no doubt, but not anything near Spectacular... Ive only heard things about the J&J, and shot a Progressive...

I would get the J&J or a pmi razzor 14". You don't want anything longer than a 16", unless you become a complete sniper.

I have the Linear, it's pretty good. Nothing spectacular, as others said, but good. IMO, it's a great upgrade for the price.

Is it rifiled because i saw a bunch of sp barrels rifiled on their site
