sts g2 or tl+

i want to get a new paintball gun and im either going to a pirhana sts g2 or spyder tl+. Which is better?

I was looking at the same two guns. I eventually went w/ the STS. Even though I could get the TL+ cheaper, the STS has a much better warranty, and some better parts. I have not regretted my decision for a second.

But really its a close choice, my friend had the same situation, most people go with the STS however its preference, if you want to do more customization then go with the TL+, Like the guy in this forum named TLplus you can do alot to the gun to make it extremely nice.

The sts is a little better as stock, and is a gun you cant upgrade much more than the barrel and bolt and maybe add an inline reg.

Piranha all the way. Made in USA still means something. Although taiwan does make those cool little action figures. The sts is just as upgradable as the tl+. It has better parts that don't need to be replaced, hence, maybe a better bolt, but you need not mess with any other internals. A new barrel, I won't go there, I've never met a stock barrel I didn't like. Add drop foreward or remote and go nitro. Add reg as mentioned above, add egg shaped motorized hopper, e-lcd and you are good to go.

Keikan, what are you talking about? Just b/c one guy has a super-tricked TL+ doesn't mean that they are more upgradable than the STS. The STS, for the most part, takes the same upgrades as Spyders. The ones it doesn't accept are bolts and trigger frames, and these are still made by 3rd party manufacturers.
