What is the purpose of a rased site rail????? The way I see it the only thing it would do is through off the accuracy of the site because it would be farther from the same hight as the barrel. My site is directly on my tippy and I still have to counter a little depending on the distance of my shot.

Other then the site not fitting on the built in mount is there any reason someone should get a raised site rail?

But if it throughs your site off then why would you want it on there even for looks?????

spelling spelling. sights are not really that useful, and just like a shotgun has ribbed sight rails( You have fired a shotgun, right?) it helps you aim down the gun. improves aim, really

ok I understand but I don't really agree with the fact about sights not helping. When the sight on my tippy all I got to do is put the site on something and if it isn't to far away the ball usually lands right on the dot... Just if I am too close it hits a little low on the dot and if I am farther away it usually lands above the dot.

I do am alot better then I do with the little sight built onto the marker.

The only thing is I don't understand how I sight rail helps you when you mount a site on it. Isn't that the point to a raised sight rail?

the sight rail moves some of the bigger sights, like scopes, up so it does not hit the stock sites. like if its to long, you can just put it higher. get it?

With the IMP, the sight rail will help, make it easier to see the dot. I have a sureshot myself
