I am looking to buy my first paintball gun, and i was thinking about getting a refurb imagine from actionvillage. I was going to buy it with a VL revvy and a Custom Products 14in barrel. i also am going to get a 20oz CO2 tank. and i was looking at a dye mask. If anything in this is wrong or i should get something else instead please tell me.:confused:

That package sounds good. However, I would get an eVLution II or possibly a Halo B, and then get the CP later on. You don't need a barrel right away.
The Dye Invision is what you're talking about? It's a good choice. IN that range, a Profiler, Invision or Proflex willbe good.

Yeah i agree w/ soccerjacks. However when it comes to masks it's better to try them on before you buy one. So go to your local pro shop and try on as many masks as you can and the one that's the most comfortable. Also invest in one that is thermal so it won't fog up on you.

I agree with him as well. You don't need the barrel just yet, and save the money from buying the barrel to grab an Eggy, or if you have enough, a Halo B. Buy whichever mask you find is the most comfortable. JT masks are great if you have glasses, as well as Vforce ones. In general, some good masks for the price are the Vforce Profiler, Proflex, Flex 8, Events/Avatars, Proto Switch*, Dye Invision*.

*They may not be available everywhere, as newer versions have been released.

Get a spyder rodeo. It's kingman best non-electric semi gun! For a spyder, any electric hopper will work. I suggest a 14'' Razzor barrel. A 20 oz. CO2 is great. Don't worry so much about gettiing an expensive mask.

Yes, but for the same price (possibly cheaper), he can get the same thing with an electronic trigger, which means faster.

Don't need a barrel just yet, worry about that later. His call on the Co2 or HPA. Again, if money is an option, the Co2 will be fine. If money isn't much of an option, grab a cheap Steely Tank.

Uh, yes, do worry about getting a good mask, because it will last and you will thank us later when you can see during a game and not have everything fog on you.
