I just recently put a W.A.S board in my A-5 and one time when I was playing with it, it would just runaway (sp?) all the time, I was wondering if there is a way to fix that?

Thanks

Run-away meaning full auto?

I noticed it on turbo mode and I think ramping mode

If it is switching modes randomly you have a defective board I think but I'm not a e-grip person. PM the spy about this... he knows e-grips best on this forum(I'm THE r/t person).

I've heard of this problem with the W.A.S. boards, but I don't have enough experience with them to either have the problem or fix it. I'll try to give you a few tips.

1. Check the debounce settings on the e-grip and increase the number.

2. Make sure the grip hasn't polarized to the wrong marker (98,CP).

I think you should elaborate on number two... what does it exactly mean?

On another topic... we could use some help over in the Tippmann Problem Guide regaurding e-grips if you would be so kind the spy.:D

I don't think the polarization deal is the problem, but it's good to eliminate the possibility. Since W.A.S. boards are made for both 98s and A-5s, and the trigger switches operate in completely opposite ways, the grip must be set to the right marker in order to fire correctly. It can be read about and adjusted using the W.A.S. board manual.

As for e-grip troubles in the problem thread, that will have to wait until after July 22nd. I'll get to it eventually. ;)
