Here's a story for ya...
So I'm playing at this outback field...heavily wooded, fairly large area. I'm not that familiar with it but did play there once before.
Anyways, it sort of sucked because the vegetation was so heavy that you couldn't see people if they were in the weeds..so you had to be very careful. I decided to go really far out into a field and reinsert behind where I figured the enemy might be.
So I walked all the way out into a field, then back towards the wooded are and reinserted. Well, somehow I got turned around and started walking (in the woods) the opposite way of the field. I had to be careful because I still thought the guys were hiding in weeds and such.
After about 20 minutes...not seeing any bunkers...not hearing any firing...I started to realize I was lost. I continued to walk...trying to trace my steps back...but just got more lost. Then I tried to just walk out of the woods...but there were roads on either side of the woods and they both looked the same. Finally, after 30-40 minutes, I started getting a little worried. It was supposed to rain later in the afternoon, I didn't have my cell phone, and I was lost in the woods. :eyes:
So I remembered once when I played there something about the stream flowing towards the field...so I just followed the stream...then...boom, I 'm out in a clearing and I see a familiar tree and the field.
Here's the kicker...I get back...THEY'RE STILL PLAYING THE SAME GAME!!!! :eek:
They had been looking for me (hunting for me) for 45 minutes!!! The rest of my team was out and had gone home. I was the last one!! So I walk towards a guy waving and he starts SHOOTING AT ME!!! Here I'm thinking they were worried about me and about to call the state police to tell them I was lost...but no...they were still looking for a kill!!
